1. Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is the publisher of the GoalGlance app. For questions about your data or your GDPR rights, email vision.app.support@gmail.com.

2. Data stored in GoalGlance

When you use GoalGlance, you may choose to save:

• your goals, progress, dates and notes;
• photos selected for a vision board;
• affirmation text, quotes, categories and related content;
• ritual information, such as the days you return to your vision;
• a small local history of technical and usage events, without your name, goals, quotes or photo content.

This data is stored locally on your device. GoalGlance uses local app storage and an App Group container shared with its widget so your data and images are available on your Home Screen. Your goals, visualisation content and selected photos are not uploaded to Supabase or RevenueCat. Creating an account does not currently provide cloud backup of this content.

Accounts and sign-in

In versions that offer accounts, you can optionally sign in with Apple or Google. Supabase provides authentication and stores your account identifier, the email address supplied by your sign-in provider (including an Apple private relay address if selected), available profile information such as your name, your language preference, and technical information needed to manage authentication and sessions. Session credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.

We use this information to operate your account and associate it with your subscription. Apple and Google process sign-in information under their own privacy policies. GoalGlance requests basic sign-in information only, not access to your Google emails, contacts or files. You can continue using GoalGlance without creating an account.

3. Photos and permissions

GoalGlance only accesses photos that you choose through the standard iOS photo picker. The selected photo is saved in the local storage needed for the widget to work. GoalGlance does not create a remote photo library. You can refuse photo access or remove an image from the app at any time.

4. Notifications

The daily reminder is optional. It is managed through iOS standard notification permissions and services. GoalGlance uses the permission you grant to schedule notifications on your device; your vision content is not sent to a third-party notification server for this feature. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings > Notifications > GoalGlance.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Apple processes App Store payments and billing information; GoalGlance does not receive or store your bank or card details. Versions with the account integration use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore existing subscriptions and determine Premium access. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription information, an anonymous app identifier or your GoalGlance account identifier, and technical information such as app version, operating system and store country. GoalGlance does not send your goals, photos, name or email address to RevenueCat. Older versions manage purchases directly with Apple StoreKit. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple Account settings.

6. No selling, advertising or public tracking

GoalGlance does not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising. RevenueCat provides subscription analytics, such as subscription status and revenue reporting, using the purchase information and identifiers described in section 5. The small product event log described in section 2 remains local in the current version and can be removed with the app data. This website does not set third-party analytics cookies.

The waitlist link may open a Tally form once its URL is configured. Information submitted through that form is then processed by Tally under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Deletion and retention

You can delete your visions, photos and text from the app, or delete the app from your device if you want to remove its local storage. To ask for help or exercise your privacy rights, contact us at the address in section 1. We will keep only the information needed to answer your request or comply with a legal obligation. In versions that offer accounts, you can delete your account from the account screen. This deletes the Supabase account and profile and revokes its sessions; for an Apple-linked account, the app requests Apple reauthentication to revoke the Apple authorization. Account deletion does not delete visions and photos stored on your device and does not cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription transaction records in RevenueCat are not automatically deleted by this action and may remain necessary for purchase validation and restoration; contact us to request review of these records. Apple retains payment and receipt information under its own policies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including in the European Union, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to receive it in a portable format where applicable. You may also object to processing or withdraw consent. Send requests to vision.app.support@gmail.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority, including the CNIL if you live in France.

9. Security and changes

Local content uses iOS storage protections and the app’s shared widget container. Online account profiles use access controls so each signed-in user can access their own profile. Authentication and subscription requests use encrypted connections. No system can be guaranteed to be completely invulnerable; please use the passcode and device protections available on your iPhone. We may update this policy if the product changes; the last-updated date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
